Masterplan approval

On February 8th 2007, the Masterplan was debated at full council and received a vote of 20 in favour and eight against. The approved Masterplan acknowledges the reservations of the public and responds to the comments of the statutory consultees and local stakeholders. The height of buildings has been reduced by two storeys and the marina has been reduced in size to a maximum of 150 berths - the marina can only proceed if the hydrological survey results reveal no adverse effects on the beach and harbour.
