The proposals include a high quality 4* hotel to attract a tier of overnight visitors not currently catered for in the Weymouth market. This will significantly contribute to raising the visitor and spending profile of the resort. It will expand visitor numbers and business opportunities outside of the peak season by appealing to those visiting for the spectacular scenery, walks and the calmness outside of peak season. This further diversifies reliance away from peak season visitors.

The hotel will be designed as a landmark building which will accommodate 140 beds complete with those additional facilities normally associated with this level of quality hotel, such as leisure and conference and a health and fitness suite. The facilities would be available for use by local residents and community groups.

We are currently in advanced negotiations with Hilton Hotels to become the operator of the hotel on the high profile Pavilion and Ferry Terminal redevelopment site.
