Residential and affordable housing

There will be approximately 340 residential apartments of varying sizes equivalent to circa 280,000 sq ft. This will create a new tier of property in Weymouth which does not compete with the existing stock. This in turn is likely to free up some local property stock for purchase by residents and first time buyers.

We will deliver 110+ ‘affordable homes’ for local people as part of the scheme. This figure is based on 30 per cent of the total number of units to be built, available to rent or buy via a shared equity scheme.

These will be managed by a registered housing association, 50 will be located on site, the remainder on other sites in Weymouth being purchased by Howard Holdings.
